Addiction Counselor/Owner
Background
I hold a bachelors degree in Addiction Counseling from University of Mary and have been licensed since 2011. I have worked in a variety of settings including residential, outpatient and dual diagnosis programs. Throughout my career I have provided numerous specialized groups including relapse prevention and dual diagnosis, as well as gender specific programming. I started a private practice to focus on providing services that are individualized to each person.
Clinical Approach
I utilize various modalities in my practice including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I have particular interest in utilizing Mindfulness and Emotional Freedom Technique in my work. I tailor my approach based on each person's unique needs.
